Feed a crowd with Jack’s Brunswick Stew

Got a SOUP party coming up for the Big Game?  Give this Southern favorite a try.

Brunswick Stew always reminds me of  the years I lived in Savannah – I remember a place called Johnny Harris serving a nice version of this dish.   Brunswick Stew seemed most prevalent  around Savannah  (it’s not too far from Brunswick, GA) but it’s across South Carolina too.     Ever hear of it in your neck of the woods?  Let us know in the comments.

Think of it like a BBQ Hash soup… sort of…

At some barbecue joints it’s so similar to hash you could serve it over rice.  Add what you like – I’ve seen Okra and Potato in different versions – it  feeds a crowd and is a killer use for leftover pork and chicken.
